.

Whew! This guy sounds like a good friend to have . Leave the guild. With a jerk at the helm, this is a ship that is sure to sink.

Hmm.. Well hmmm...what is your part in this beside being thrown from one guild to another?

Ok Ok sensative person i get it but its not your fault... You feel bad for who.. The first guild leader you left.. or the Guild Leader that lost his guild.. quite confusing

Then according to you you didnt play any major role in a argument in either case- you shouldnt care or take it close to heart.

Its a Game...but like real life.. some one wins..some one looses....The Guild Leader (not owner) who lost his guild was gulable.. and frankly deserved it..

In anyway taking miniscule things like this close to heart will ruin your Game experience.. my answe r to you.. be without guild.. there is Drama in every guild.. Exept mine...its all comedy here =)

Just explain your situation as you did above, to the original founder. You don't have to re-join his guild, but at least be courteous and explain your perspective of the story.

Yes everyone does it, as you are so nicely showing us. However, by not being a sheep and following the herd...nevermind the concept would go right over your head.

On that note, to the original poster:

This sort of stuff sucks, but it does tend to happen almost regularly in GW. Someone trusts someone else and ends up shafted....usually without lube.

There really isn't much you can do. I mean even if you could contact the previous owner and talk to the guy that stole the guild, the likeliness that he would give it back is nill.

I'd say you made a good call by leaving and adding him to your ignore list. People like that aren't worth the time you waste on them. You can't change them and eventually they'd most likely screw you over as well.

I'd suggest simply moving on and keep it in the back of your mind as a hard lesson learned about the nature of most people playing the game.

@Zahr Dalsk
No, I do not do what you do. Do not assume everyone is like you.

Punky2009 isn't or they won't ask the question.

@ Punky2009
Leaving the guild is the correct thing to do, other then that I don't think there's anything else you can do.

However if you must try, why not send a ticket to Arena Net and see what they say. Provided you have proof of what you say, when the incident happened, time and date. Screenshots.

No, it doesn't put me in the same boat as that theiven bloke. And, obviously, I am still watching the thread, just didn't have anymore intentions on posting in it anymore until I saw your response. A little correction was called for. I'm aware that others will visit at various times and have opinions.

I decided to just read and not post because, frankly, there are too many people apparently that don't give a sh*t about their gaming peers posting. Selfishness and callousness seem to abide and anyone over the age of 17 should be ashamed of themselves for it. Real adults don't act that way, even in games. The gaming experience would be much better than is without that kind of negative behavior.

But yes, I agree with you and the previous poster to which you responded. And a few others. And I very much appreciate the input.

~Thanks

I think you should convince the guy to make you leader, then kick him.

And then reinvite everyone who was part of the guild previously. Then you'll be part of a guild that know you are a nice guy/gal.

Of course, the sort of jerk you're talking about would never let go of guild leadership, because he doesn't trust anyone and probably plans to take advantage of you later.

IMHO all that happened has nothing to do with you. Its all that guys fault. You put him on ignore allready. that's it. end of chapter.
Move on and find a nice guild. You don't have to apologise to anyone as it was never your fault to start with.

Welcome to the internet, where unsupervised children and disfunctional adults are the majority. I sense you are learning this and well you should. It will save you time and frustration. Just read through some of the posts on guru to see what the community is really like. Check other forums of other games and see how those communities are.

As for your issue. The dude who stole the guild is a jerk and the old guild leader is an idiot for giving away his guild to someone he barely knew. Either way its really none of your business (I mean that respectfully) and as such not your responsibility.

The old guild leader could complain about the guild jacking if he/she wants to. Just leave it alone and mark this down as an easy lesson learned. Now you know never to do what that guild leader did and trust NO ONE.

Here's a rule of thumb to live by.

Many video games are fun and many online video game players are jerks. People who get punked out in real life so they need to get online and vent there sad little rage all over the net. Its best to just lol and ignore them completely.

I love video games, but I am in no way, a gamer. When you understand the community, you will understand the comment.

Punky2009: You sound like a nice person who cares about what happens to people and trying to do the right thing by them. I wish there were more people in GW like you Please keep that attitude, and don't let the callousness, rudeness or apathy of the majority drag you down.

I think this is the most true statement I have heard in a long time. The only update I have ever wished for was the update that reverses the number of slots on the friends/ignore list. I need 100 slots on the ignore list and 10 slots on the friends list, not the other way around.

The exact reason I haven't played this game in 2 month, the majority community sucks.
I've met some really good people in this game, but, unfortunatley, I've met x10 more assholes.

This is only a game, you can ignore all the drama that go on in this game. You should not take e-drama too seriously!
